PENALTIES WILL BELEVIED ON EXPAT SPONSORS OF VISIT VISAS

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior intends to fine some foreign sponsors since the persons they brought into the country on visit visas have not returned. As a result, these sponsors will be denied all types of visas, including family visas, for the next two years.


According to a source, the Ministry of Interior is studying these processes in response to directives from First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lieutenant-General (Retd) Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nawaf. This happened after data from the Residence Affairs Sector, led by Brigadier General Walid Al- Tarawa, revealed that 14,653 expatriates entered on visit visas between the last three years and the first of May 2022 and did not return.
