SIX KUWAITIS AMONG THE 100 MOST POWERFUL CEOs IN MIDDLE EAST

Kuwait City: Forbes released the list of 100 most powerful CEOs in the Middle East. Six people from Kuwaiti companies and banks are involved. Engineer Bader Nasser Al Kharafi, Sheikh Adana Nasser Sabah Al Ahmed, Issam Al Sagar, Tariq Sultan, Ilham Mahfooz and Muhammad Al Osaimi are the Kuwaitis who have made it to the list. The list includes people from 26 countries in the Middle East.


Emirates tops the list with 19 CEOs. Egypt is second with 16 and Saudi Arabia is third with 15. Eight leaderships from the field of communication were involved. Seven CEOs from the energy and logistics sector made it to the list. The companies run by the Middle East's 100 most powerful CEOs are worth nearly five trillion dollars, and their revenues topped one trillion dollars last year, according to reports.
