KUWAITI PASSPORTS RANKED THIRD IN ARAB WORLD AND 59TH GLOBALLY

Kuwait city: According to the latest index from the global consultancy company "Henley" British passports for the third quarter of 2022, the Kuwaiti passport maintained its position in third place in the Arab world and 59th globally, because it allows its holders to enter 96 countries without obtaining a prior visa. The Kuwaiti passport trailed the UAE passport, which ranked first in the Arab world and 15th globally due to its holders' ability to enter 176 countries without a prior visa, and was followed by the Qatari passport, which ranked second in the Arab world and 57th globally due to Qataris' ability to enter 99 countries.


 The Bahraini passport is ranked 66th globally, followed by the Omani and Saudi passports, which are placed fifth and 68th globally, respectively, with the ability to access 81 countries. Tunisia (77 worldwide) - Morocco (82 globally) - Mauritania (87 globally) - Comoros (93 globally) - Algeria, Egypt, and Jordan (94 globally). Djibouti was placed 11th in the Arab world and 98th overall. Lebanon and Sudan were ranked 12th and 103rd in the Arab world, respectively, followed by Libya, Palestine, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq. 

The Syrian passport was at the bottom of the list, despite being the most costly passport in the world, costing up to $800, and it was only ahead of the Iraqi passport, which was last in the Arab world and 111th overall. Japan's passport ranked first in the world, having access to 193 countries, followed by Singapore and South Korean passports in second place (192 countries), and Germany and Spain in third place (192 countries) (190 countries).
