SEVERAL STUDENTS SEND KUWAIT UNIVERSITY WITHDRAWAL REQUESTS

Kuwait City: For the academic year 2022–2023, a number of students who were accepted to Kuwait University have submitted petitions to leave the institution. The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) or the internal scholarship programme are the two programmes these pupils want to apply for admission to, according to sources.

Numerous students are expected to withdraw from the university, according to sources, despite the fact that there has been no official report on the number of students planning to do so. This is because they were admitted to courses that they had not originally intended to enrol in despite having specified them in their application for admission. Sources noted that, in accordance with the university's transfer policy, students are free to change their field of study at a later time.

Sources confirmed the withdrawal of some students opened slots in some colleges; which gives the university an opportunity to increase admission seats in the second semester, as well as to move forward with the plan to accept excellent foreign students in courses with a high number of available slots.
