DEPARTMENT OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE STARTED FUNCTIONING AT WARA HOSPIAL, KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Wara Hospital's Nuclear Medicine Department has started operations. This is the first time in the private health sector in Kuwait that the Department of Nuclear Medicine is coming to a hospital. The department uses safe radioactive drugs to assess body functions, diagnose and treat diseases. 


The Department of Nuclear Medicine will function as per best international standards. Nuclear medicine methods use a specially designed gamma camera for imaging to track the path of radioactive materials and their concentration in the body, said Dr. Muhammad Muhanna said.
