Adulterated coal causes serious health issues

Kuwait City, Jan 15: People resort to using various heating methods, including lighting coal inside homes, when the winter season arrives.However, coal poses a greater threat, particularly in light of the recent spike in suffocation-related fatalities. Despite this, the threat posed by adulterated coal, which is known to release lethal poisonous gases, never goes away.

Al-Rai recently visited the coal market in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, paying particular attention to the roundabout known as the "Coal Roundabout" because it once housed many coal-selling businesses but now only two of them have survived.
