Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has uncovered and dismantled two interconnected illegal medical operations in the Farwaniya area. Security authorities arrested eight Asian nationals involved in practicing medicine without licenses and trafficking government-supplied pharmaceuticals.
The investigation revealed that one suspect operated an unlicensed medical clinic, while three others visited the facility for treatment. Separately, authorities uncovered a network that illegally distributed government medicines for profit, resulting in the arrest of three additional individuals. Investigations further exposed a government health center employee who exploited his position to steal medicines from hospital supplies and sell them to the accused.
All necessary legal measures have been taken against the suspects, and authorities are coordinating with the Ministry of Health's Drug Control Department to secure the confiscated medicines and continue combating such violations. The operation demonstrates Kuwait's ongoing efforts to control illegal medical practices and protect public health resources.
