Inspection campaigns to find out shops throwing waste outside the containers

The Acting Director of the Kuwait Municipality, Saud Al-Dabbous, directed the cleaning and road occupancy department teams in the governorates’ branches to launch inspection campaigns on shops that do not comply with laws and regulations, specifically those that throw waste, with a warning. They must put the garbage inside the containers.

The sources said that Al-Dabbous ordered the directors of the concerned departments to stress commercial cleaning companies that are not contracted with the municipality, and are not covered by cleaning contracts, to remove waste from in front of the shops, and to clean their affiliated sites. They found out 10 commercial stores that throw waste outside the containers, and also alerted the rest of the neighboring shops.
