Experts are warning that Iceland is on the brink of a volcanic eruption, which could threaten a town that has already been evacuated. The country has been declared state of emergency after a series of seismic events.
Thousands of people living in Grindavík, in the southwest of the country, have been ordered to evacuate as a precautionary measure. The IMO (Icelandic Meteorological Office) has warned that there is a high likelihood of an eruption.
