More than 14 people were killed and 18 were wounded in a fire at a dormitory at a university in Soran, northeast of Erbil in northern Iraq, on Friday night (local time). The fire started in a building in Soran, as reported by Kamaram Mulla Mohammed, the head of Soran's health directorate. The dormitory is home to lecturers and other students.
