A recent announcement by a security official from Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has refuted the spreading rumors concerning travel limitations for expatriates who have not undergone biometric fingerprinting. The official has affirmed that the absence of this procedure does not hinder expatriates from returning to the country.
The Ministry has made it clear that any claims stating that expatriates who do not undergo fingerprinting will be prohibited from entering Kuwait after the upcoming deadline are completely false. The Ministry stressed that the given time frame, which starts in June, is sufficient for both citizens and residents to fulfill the requirement of mandatory biometric fingerprinting.
