Director of the Cancer Patients Fund of the Kuwait Cancer Control Society, Jamal Al-Saleh, confirmed that the Fund receives forms requesting assistance from cancer patients in a number exceeding 850 cases annually, pointing out that these cases are referred to the competent committee in the Fund by our social service partners at the Kuwait Center for Cancer Control and Social Service. At the Palliative Care Center and the Patient Aid Fund Society, including a comprehensive report on each patient’s condition, attached to the medical report and a social case study. The committee works to study each file and approve patient assistance based on the reports.
