Gastrointestinal cancer is the highest among all types of cancer in Kuwait

Informed health sources revealed that deaths resulting from gastrointestinal cancer were the highest among all types of cancer in Kuwait during the past year. The sources confirmed to Al-Jarida that the rate of these deaths among Kuwaitis was higher than among others, explaining that deaths from malignant tumors in the tissues of the respiratory system came in second place.


Sources indicated a significant and noticeable decline in the number of patient visits to health care centers in the Ministry of Health during the past year. The Oncology Surgery Department at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center is organizing today, Sunday until next Thursday, a practical scientific workshop on breast reconstruction and plastic surgery after removing tumors or removing the entire breast.
