His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, received at Bayan Palace, yesterday (Sunday), Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who is in charge of forming the government, to take the constitutional oath, on the occasion of his appointment as Deputy Emir.
An Amiri order was issued appointing the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, who is in charge of forming the new government, as Deputy Emir during the periods of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad’s absence from the country.
