Engineer Maha Al-Asousi, the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, has responded to the concerns raised by several representatives regarding potential power outages. She emphasized that the Ministry is fully prepared to handle the challenges that may arise during the upcoming summer season. Al-Asousi revealed that Kuwait has been granted permission by the Gulf Electricity Interconnection Authority to receive 300 megawatts from Oman's network in the coming months, as reported by Al-Rai. In order to address concerns about scheduled power cuts, she reassured the public by stating that there will be no strategy for such cuts during the summer.
