On Thursday, the Civil Aviation Directorate General made an announcement stating that over 1.1 million passengers had traveled through Kuwait International Airport in April. Abdullah Al-Rajhi, the deputy director general for aviation safety and air transport, mentioned in a press release that the airport experienced an 11 percent increase in passenger numbers, a 13 percent rise in aircraft movement, and a 10 percent growth in air cargo activity compared to the same month last year. The most popular destinations were Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul, and Doha.
