Oxford Economics recently published its 2024 ranking of the top cities worldwide, where Kuwait City placed eighth among Gulf and Arab nations and 293rd overall. New York City, with a population of 20.5 million, claimed the first spot globally thanks to its unparalleled economic scale and steady development. The World Cities Index assesses cities across five key areas: economy (comprising GDP size, expansion, and economic variety), human capital, quality of life, environment, and governance. New York excelled in the economic sector, greatly impacting its overall leading position.
