Criminal investigation officers successfully apprehended an individual who was impersonating a security officer and committing robberies targeting expatriates in the Fahaheel, Abu Halifa, and Mahboula areas. The suspect was arrested after a well-planned ambush was executed in the Abu Halifa area. Upon interrogation, the suspect admitted to carrying out more than 12 robberies by posing as a security officer, where he forcefully took mobile phones and money from his victims. He also confessed to using the stolen money to fuel his drug consumption. The accused, along with the seized items, was transferred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.
