As the countdown to Eid Al-Adha commences, the nation is witnessing a significant surge in efforts to stabilize the prices of sacrificial animals, which typically experience a rise during this joyous season. However, this year, indications suggest that prices will be more reasonable and accessible to all. At present, the prices are considered appropriate, with the Iranian Shafali sheep priced between 75 and 90 dinars, while the local and Saudi Nuaimi sheep can reach up to 120 dinars. Sheep merchant Manawer Al-Wawan has provided reassurance that a variety of sacrificial animals are available to cater to different financial capabilities, including Australian and Somali sheep, as well as Shafali and local Nuaimi breeds.
