Al-Ayoub emphasized that the grace period serves as a means to decrease the number of Residency Law violators, cautioning that anyone providing refuge or employing a violator will face repercussions in accordance with Article 12 of the Foreigners Law. This article prescribes penalties such as a maximum fine of KD600 or imprisonment for up to six months.
