40 Indians killed in Kuwait camp fire

Over 49 people were killed in a tragic fire occurred a building in Mangaf city. The majority of the victims were Indian nationals, as confirmed by India's external affairs ministry in a press release. Out of the deceased, it is believed that around forty were Indians. Additionally, fifty other Indians sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment in five different hospitals across Kuwait. The ministry further stated that the hospitalized individuals are reported to be in a stable condition, according to the hospital officials. The six-storey building provided accommodation for approximately 195 workers, with a significant number hailing from Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
