A new service aimed at providing biometric fingerprinting for bedridden individuals and those with moderate to severe mental disabilities will be introduced on Sunday, August 18, 2024. This initiative is the result of a collaborative effort between the General Department of Criminal Evidence and the General Department of Information Systems, allowing for the service to be conducted directly at the individuals' locations.
This initiative reflects the Ministry of Interior's dedication to enhancing community services and facilitating access for individuals with special needs and those who are bedridden, thereby ensuring that they can obtain essential government services without facing undue difficulties.
