3 arrested for violating laws and regulations in herding camels

The Public Security Sector, represented by the Environmental Police Department and the Jahra Governorate Security Directorate, in cooperation with the Environment Public Authority and the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources, implemented a security campaign in response to a complaint about the presence of overgrazing and infringements by camel herders in the Jahra area, which resulted in the arrest of 3 people for violating the laws and regulations in the area. Camel grazing and reservation of 22 camels.


The Ministry of Interior reported through its account on the “X” platform that a number of environmental violations were also monitored during the campaign, and the violating halal owners were referred to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary legal measures against them.
