Pakistan expands flood evacuations as millions displaced in Punjab and Sindh

Pakistan has expanded evacuation efforts as devastating floods displace over two million people in Punjab province and 150,000 in Sindh province, with numbers expected to rise. The National Disaster Management Authority has reported that monsoon rains have killed more than 900 people nationwide since June, with climate change exacerbating the scale of flooding through heavy rainfall and river overflows.
