Sharjah Police have issued a final warning that all National Day stickers and decorations must be removed from vehicles by tomorrow, December 6th, to ensure road safety and maintain urban aesthetics. Authorities emphasized that vehicles found with remaining celebratory adornments after the deadline will face fines under current traffic safety regulations.
This enforcement follows recent traffic operations during National Day celebrations where 106 vehicles and 9 motorcycles were impounded for serious violations including excessive noise, reckless driving, and public disturbance. Some offenders were also found driving without valid licenses. While this year saw many residents opting for simpler yet creative car decorations—including notable designs by Malayali resident Shafeek from Kozhikode—authorities stress the importance of timely removal to prevent traffic hazards and maintain public safety. Police have thanked residents for their cooperation while reminding everyone to comply with the clearance directive.
