A shooting occurred at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office in Dallas, Texas, resulting in multiple casualties. According to the Dallas Police Department, one person was killed and two others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The shooter also died at the scene from what Homeland Security officials confirmed was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or the shooter, and the motive for the attack remains under investigation. The ICE Acting Director confirmed three people were shot but did not specify if they were employees, civilians, or detainees, all of whom are typically present at such facilities.

The area was placed under heavy police surveillance and locked down following the incident. This marks the third shooting at an immigration-related facility in Texas this year, raising continued concerns about security at such offices.
