NOT FOLLOWING GUIDELINES :ISSUED CITATIONS TO MANY SHOPS

Kuwait City :  The Kuwait Municipality has organized field tours in all the governorates of Kuwait. This exercise also aims that all the commercial establishments strictly adhere to the latest directions concerning COVID-19 from the municipality general. 


As per the directions, personal care stores and health clubs are to be shut down and all other commercial spaces should stay closed from 8 pm to 5 am. Some establishments like food shopping outlets, pharmacies, medical supplies, and food supply centers are exempted from the limitations.
The employees of the establishments are to follow strict guidelines regarding the prevention of the spread of the virus. This includes social distancing, usage of personal protective equipment, sanitizers, and proper management of customers.

Multiple citations and warnings were given to the Governorates of Hawalli and Mubarak Al-Kabeer for not adhering to the guidelines. Meanwhile, The Jahra Governorate completely complied with the guidelines, and the Director-General of the Governorate, Engr Ahmed Al-Manfouhi was full of praises for the shopkeepers and employees. He added the people should cooperate with the authorities and warned of severe punishment to those who didn't cooperate.
