CABINET ANNOUNCES PARTIAL CURFEW

Kuwait City : In an extra ordunary meeting held the Council of Ministers headed by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, decided to impose a partial curfew in all parts of the country, starting on Sunday March 7, from 5 pm until 5 am for a whole month.


On February 22, the Cabinet rejected the Health Committee’s proposals to impose a partial curfew in the country, and replaced it with a series of new strict decisions aimed at stopping the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic in the country but a record jumb in the past three days made the authorities to come to such a decision.

 During the curfew time, people are allowed to go to mosques on foot, and pharmacies, shops buying medical supplies, cooperative societies and markets are permitted to practice their activities through only delivery service. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is assigned to take necessary measures to deliver basic suppliers during the night curfew and attend their auction
