16,206 CITATIONS ISSUED, 25 CARS SEIZED, 3 GET JAIL IN TRAFFIC RAIDS

Kuwait City : n the latest campaign by The Traffic Operations Sector during the partial curfew in various parts of Kuwait, a  staggering 16,206 citations were issued. These included impounding of 25 vehicles, referral of 5 juvenile offenders to the Juvenile Police Department, and 3 were jailed. 


The authorities aimed to curb traffic violations that endanger the lives of other motorists and also the public. The program took place in all 6 governorates of Kuwait. Of all the citations issues, the Hawally Traffic Department topped with a total of 4,966, followed by The Capital Traffic Department with 3,374 violations, and Farwaniya Traffic Department recorded 3,321 violations.
