Kuwait City: As the COVID-19 pandemic looms, the health authorities are recommending not to extend the opening times of commercial complexes and restaurants to 11 pm considering the health and safety of the residents.
The sources report that the current situation in the country is stable but the government has warned against gradually returning to normal life as there are chances for the COVID-19 virus to spread. Resolutions in this regard would be taken during cabinet meetings.
The sources added that the government will stress the ban on holding weddings, and they will be monitored, in addition to monitoring hookah cafes that open their doors to customers in secret as these public events have the potential to spread the virus.
