RESIDENTS TO RECEIVE THE SECOND DOSE OF VACCINE FROM TODAY

Kuwait City: Abdullah Al-Sabah, representing the Ministry of Health reported that the Ministry has sent SMS intimations to people to obtain the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 from Wednesday onwards.


He added The messages include the place and time of vaccination and also noted that the ministry has been coordinating the readiness of the vaccination centres, medical personnel and preparing a detailed list of individuals to be vaccinated.

Al-Sanad stated that the vaccination process would continue at the vaccination centres during the coming days,  from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Vaccination also will be available at the Kuwait International Fairground from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m, in addition to Sheikh Jaber Bridge’s centre from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
He urged both citizens and immigrants to download the “Immune” app to help them get certified as soon as they receive the second dose of the vaccine.
