SECURITY ALERT TO ARREST A SYRIAN WHO KILLED HIS MOTHER

Kuwait City: Security forces have launched an extensive search for a Syrian man who committed double murder in Kuwait. The Interior Ministry had received information that a Syrian youth had killed his own mother, a Kuwaiti woman, in the Khosour area. The accused is a 19-year-old Syrian expatriate.


Wajib Abdul Aziz al-Rashidi, a policeman on duty in the Mahabula Roundabout area, was later found dead in the area. CCTV visuals revealed that the man who killed the policeman was the same person who had killed his mother. When the traffic policeman followed him and tried to arrest him, he stabbed the policeman to death. After killing the policeman, the accused snatched the gun and ran away
