RELIEF FOR COVID RESTRICTIONS IN SHARJAH

Sharjah: Further concessions were made to the restrictions imposed on the Covid defense in Sharjah. The Emirate's Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team has issued new guidelines allowing more people to enter public places. Visiting visas have also been granted. Sharjah-based airline Air Arabia said in a statement on its website. The new notice also states that the corona vaccination of travelers will not be checked as a condition of the traveler.


Apart from India, people from Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka are also allowed to come to Sharjah on visitor visas. Air Arabia recently issued e-visas for accommodation, visitor and employment do not require special prior permission or registration.

The number of people entering malls, movie theaters and other entertainment venues has increased to 80 per cent of the total capacity. 60 per cent of the total capacity will be allowed in the wedding halls. But the total number of people attending the function should not exceed 300. All guests must wear a mask and maintain social distance. Covid vaccination is mandatory for those attending events.

Participants in exhibitions, social, cultural and art events must have received the Covid vaccine within six months. In addition, Covid must have a negative PCR test within 48 hours of the event.
