Abu Dhabi : Expatriates who have lost their jobs in the UAE can stay in the country for up to six months. The grace period has been extended from 90 to 180 days, according to the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade. Thani bin Ahmad al-Siudi reported. Currently, the grace period for expatriates to stay in the country even after the visa expires is 30 days.

This is a decision that will bring relief to expatriates who have lost their jobs. It will also help you find a new job while staying in the country for a period of six months.

Over the next 50 years, the UAE has made significant changes to its entry and residency laws as part of its mission to make the country more conducive to employment, investment, entrepreneurship, education and lifestyle. As part of this, business travel permits were raised from three months to six months. The new announcements include sponsorship of parents on next-of-kin visas, an extension of one year of residency in cases requiring humanitarian consideration, and raising the age limit for sponsoring children on a parental residency visa from 18 to 25.

Meanwhile, two new types of visa services have been announced as part of the UAE's Golden Jubilee celebrations. The Green Visa, which allows people to stay in the UAE without a company's work permit, was announced on Sunday with a freelance visa to attract those with special skills and excellence to the country.

Green visas are available to students, investors, business people, and those with special skills in various fields. They can get a visa without a special work permit to work. The key feature is that green visa holders can stay in the country without relying on anyone, including companies.
