KUWAIT LAUNCHES DATA CENTER FOR CLOUD SERVICES IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Al Rai, a local newspaper, reported that a data center for Google cloud services in the Middle East would be set up in Kuwait. Officials said they had discussed the matter with Google representatives and Kuwaiti information officials and an official announcement would be made soon. In addition to Google management tools, the cloud platform provides Google customers with a number of modular cloud services, including computing, data storage, data analytics, and machine learning. There are currently more than 90 products under the Google Cloud brand. 


The construction of Google Data Center in Kuwait is expected to make the country a leading computer hub in the region. The new move will help accelerate the country's information sector development and digital transformation plan. The establishment of the new center will create many jobs in Kuwait. Earlier, Ireland relied on the Datacenter for cloud services in the Middle East and Africa. The new data center is reported to be the most energy efficient ever in the world.
