EXPATRIATES OVER AGE OF 60 WHO LEFT KUWAIT CAN RETURN WITH NEW VISA

Kuwait City: Expatriates who have returned home after the age of 60 will be able to enter the country on a new visa, a local newspaper reported, citing officials. The new decision is believed to be part of a decision taken by the Fatwa Legislative Committee yesterday. Thousands of foreigners have returned home since the law went into effect on January 1. 


The government's decision will allow such people to return to Kuwait. The cabinet was formed following strong opposition from various quarters. The following is the position of the Fatwa Legislation Committee on this issue. This put an end to the anxieties and uncertainties that had prevailed among the expatriates for months.
