BIG JUMP IN BANK REVENUES IN NINE MONTHS IN KUWAIT, 70 PERCENT INCREASE

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti banks saw strong growth in the first nine months of this year. Banks posted a net profit of Rs 624.46 million, a net profit of 70.8 per cent. This growth is attributed to the resumption of economic activity and the resumption of employment. 


The five banks that declared their profits accounted for 61.56 per cent of the region's profits, or 384.44 million dinars. Islamic banks, on the other hand, have a profit margin of 38.44%, or 240.02 million dinars. National Bank of Kuwait, the largest bank in the country in terms of profit value, accounts for 40.8 per cent of the total sector.
