Soon, shots for children aged 5 to 12 will be available

KUWAIT CITY: According to Al-Qabas daily, the COVID-19 Committee of the Ministry of Health has finally finished endorsing the lists of children aged 5-12 years registered on the ministry's website to receive COVID-19 vaccines, as part of the government's efforts to continue improving the country's epidemiological situation and to preserve the positive steps that have been achieved to control the COVID-19 spread.

According to the criteria of the vaccine producers, the first batches of licenced vaccines for children would arrive in the country by the end of January 2022 or the beginning of February 2022 at the latest. The COVID-19 Committee, according to the sources, is working to get these vaccines to the children who have registered as soon as possible.
