DECISION TO TRANSFER 587 STAFF IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Daoud Al-Asousi, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Development at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, recently announced a decision to transfer 587 financial and legal professionals from the governorates to the ministry without their consent. As on January 2, the decision involves a halt in the payment of bonuses to Kuwaitis operating on mobile screens and in remote areas.


In the meantime, the Ministry of Justice's Execution Department has asked the Council of Ministers to boost the number of workers in the Courts Sector and its affiliates in all governorates to 100 percent in order to assure transaction completion and better serve the public.
