INDIAN EMBASSY IN KUWAIT CELEBRATES 73RD REPUBLIC DAY

Kuwait City: The Indian Embassy in Kuwait celebrated the 73rd Republic Day of India. The celebration was held in compliance with all the health procedures of the Government of Kuwait in the context of the Covid situation. The celebrations began with the Ambassador offering flowers to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the Embassy courtyard. Then the national flag of India was hoisted and the national anthem was sung. 


The Ambassador read out the Republic Day message of the President of India. The event was attended by many people online. Sibi George said that Republic Day, which is celebrated as the Azadi Amrit festival as part of the 75th anniversary of India's independence, is very special. 

He spoke of the need to remember all those who fought for India's independence and the importance of the Indian Constitution. The Ambassador also spoke about the efforts of the Embassy to further strengthen India-Kuwait relations. He also thanked the Indian associations and organizations working with the Embassy.
