MONTH OF RAMADAN. STRICT RESTRICTIONS TO CURB INFLATION IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, efforts are being made to keep food prices from rising in the market, said Faisal al-Ansari, director of the technical committee overseeing goods at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The committee is closely monitoring the market. 


The inspection was done to find out the price in these places and the selling price in the market. The companies are committed to upholding the prices submitted to the Ministry. Officials said that during the month of Ramadan, prices should not be increased in any way and should be strictly adhered to. Sources said that the companies have informed that there will be no price hike during the holy month and are cooperating with the ministry.
