2,42,000 PEOPLE TRAVELED DURING HOLIDAYS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City:  An estimated 242,000 people traveled with citizens and residents on national holidays. In addition, there has been a resurgence in the country's money exchange market, with a significant increase in remittances and foreign exchange reserves. Those working in the sector say there has been a huge recovery in the money exchange market.

Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals. As Turkey is the busiest destination for Kuwait, the Turkish lira still accounts for more than 50% of the total transactions in the exchange market. In addition, the US dollar, the euro, the British pound and the emirate dirham are in high demand. Those working in the region said the exchange rate of the lira would reduce the cost of travel for both citizens and expatriates.
