Kuwait City: Northwestern Europe's jet fuel imports are estimated to be between 200,000 and 300,000 barrels per day in the first four months of 2022. About half of these came from the Middle East, especially from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The other half is from Asia, according to the Standard & Poor's Global Agency report.

Jet fuel suppliers in the Middle East are trying to increase their exports to Europe. The report says that these countries are trying to make the most of the high demand for air travel after easing sanctions on the Covid epidemic. Traders shared expectations that the demand for travel will increase significantly due to the arrival of national and international holidays and the easing of Covid restrictions.
