ABU DHABI POLICE LAUNCHES AN INITATIVE TO PROTECT ANIMAL PROPERTY

Abu Dhabi: Al Ain Police Directorate in the Criminal Security Sector has enhanced proactive awareness of preventive measures to secure animal property through the Safe Summer campaign and the "Your Halal Security" initiative.


Brigadier Juma Salem Al Kaabi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate, explained that the initiative comes within the Abu Dhabi Police's keenness to enhance the spread of security, safety and tranquility in the community, in cooperation and coordination with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority and a number of concerned authorities and citizens' owners of livestock in ranches and farms.

The initiative focuses on a number of awareness activities by implementing visual programs, distributing brochures to "Halal" owners and breeders, and disseminating guidelines for mall-goers using electronic screens, in order to reach the largest number of the target audience.

He pointed out that there are several preventive measures that must be followed, including the presence of sufficient lighting in the area of ​​the farms or farms, the installation of surveillance cameras, ensuring the safety of the external fence, and the presence of housing for workers near the farms and farms to facilitate the monitoring process and periodically check the numbers of livestock.
