KUWAIT SUCCEEDS IN PROTECTING ENDANGERED SHARKS

Kuwait City: A scientific center has achieved global success by successfully breeding and caring for the endangered sand tiger shark. The center has become one of the few centers in the world that has succeeded in protecting endangered sharks.


The center's records show that the famous "baby" shark, who is more than 20 years old, gave birth to two cubs on January 23, 2022 at the Marine Life Aquarium. One is male and one is female. The names of Evaith Bader and Badria were given in the poll conducted through the center's Instagram. Biologist and former member of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Center Dr. Salam Al Ablani and Scientific Center Director General Rana Al Nibari reviewed the importance of the scientific achievements and the time it took.
