Since the beginning of the Covid epidemic, cyberattacks on one of the busiest ports in the world have almost doubled.

According to the port's executive director Gene Seroka, there are currently about 40 million monthly attacks directed towards the Port of Los Angeles.

The port of Los Angeles, which handles more than $250 billion (£210 billion) in cargo annually, is the busiest in the western hemisphere.

According to Mr. Seroka, the threats, which attempt to harm the US economy, are thought to originate mostly from Europe and Russia.
