COMPLETION OF 58% OF GOVERNMENT CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IS DELAYED

Kuwait City: The Government Performance Followup Agency of the Council of Ministers updated reports on the conclusion of government projects in various agencies last August, indicating that the data was last updated in May and that work is still being done to implement 31 projects that are associated with 6 ministries and institutions across the nation. 


According to the report, 18 projects—or 58% of all the projects whose implementation is being monitored—have experienced delays in completing their scheduled work over the past years. He continued by saying that Kuwait University, which has a total of 8 projects, is the highest authority experiencing delays in the execution of its plans, followed by The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW), which has 4 projects, and The Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport, which has 3 projects each.
