KUWAIT WITH MORE EFFORTS FOR THE ADVANCEMENT AND EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN

Kuwait City:  Kuwait will continue its efforts to empower Kuwaiti women and further improve their civil, political, economic and social rights in line with constitutional values ​​and the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Mawdda Al Mansour, Permanent Representative to the United Nations, stated this in a discussion on the advancement of women before the Third Committee of the General Assembly. 


Kuwait supports efforts at local and international levels aimed at strengthening the role of women in society and empowering them. He also emphasized the importance of exchanging information, experiences, knowledge and best practices in the field between countries and related authorities and organizations. Al Mansoor added that men and women complement each other and are partners in the progress of society.
