STRICT CHECK TO CATCH RECKLESS DRIVERS, 24 PEOPLE ARRESTED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Traffic department with strict checks to catch reckless drivers. The General Traffic Department conducted the inspection in Al Subiya under the supervision of Major General Jamal Al Sayegh, Assistant Under Secretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs, and Major General Yusuf Al Khadda, Director General of the General Traffic Department. The traffic department had received many complaints from citizens and residents.


24 people were arrested for reckless driving. 28 vehicles were shifted to detention garage. Also, 300 different types of traffic violations have been detected. The traffic department has tracked the drivers who escaped through the desert. They will be summoned to the General Traffic Department. Patrolling teams of Traffic Operations Department and Traffic Investigation Department of Jahra Governorate set up mobile check points.
