KUWAIT WILL EXPERIENCE LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN TODAY AND TOMORROW MORNING

Kuwait City: According to the Meteorological Department, today and tomorrow will bring light to moderate rain to most of Kuwait, along with winds that could gust as high as 50 kph in some places and sea waves as high as 6 feet. Rain is possible through tomorrow morning.


Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, a weather forecast observer at the administration, reported that the country is experiencing an air depression coming in from the Red Sea, which is causing low and medium clouds to multiply and be interspersed with thunderstorms. 

Al-Qarawi added that light to moderate rains, thunderstorms, high levels of humidity, and the potential for fog to form in some areas will all be possible starting at noon on Thursday.

He urged everyone to monitor the weather forecast on the website www.met.gov.kw, particularly during weather changes, to stay informed of recent weather developments, and to view any issued weather warnings.
